About
There are more than 40 million professionals in Brazil working with no formal ties to their employer or under a vulnerable employment relationship – like nannies and workers of very small employers. These professionals do not have access to products and services available to the formal worker.
Through products that take into consideration the fluctuating, unpredictable gig worker’s income stream, Enconta is changing the way the segment deals with money, starting with credit, the most pressing pain point for these underserved workers.
With features that lower the inherent risk of the segment, a product that instill repayment discipline and a team of experient financial services professionals, Enconta is helping to reshape the future of the gig worker.

Leo Cherman has over 25 years of professional experience working in the financial sector. Prior to SimplyPag, Leo had multiple roles in different companies, having worked as Head of Sofisa Direto – the first digital bank of Brazil, as the CEO of Portocred, leading the turnaround of the company, and as Director of Citibank, working abroad in USA, Europe and Israel. As academic background, Leo holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-RJ, and an MBA from Chicago Booth. Roberto Naddeo has over 20 years of professional experience, having worked in financial institutions such as Sofisa Direto, Santander and Banco Real, leading digital strategies. He also worked at Value Partners, EDS and AgênciaClick. Roberto holds a BA in Mechanical Engineering from Poli-USP, and an MBA from Insper.
Rodolfo Penha has over 20 years of professional experience, having worked as a software architect for Minuto Seguros – largest auto insurance broker of Brazil, at TransUnion Brasil, developing an automation platform for decision-making. Rodolfo holds a BA in Electrical Engineering from Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho University.
